We’ve heard from many members, and the DCR had received a couple of written complaints about the dog poop left on the trails by the careless, the clueless, the lazy and the irresponsible. It makes us all look bad, and really, none of us wants to be looking at or stepping around the mess.
We can’t wait for the Annual Clean-Up scheduled for April 26! So we will be conducting a Clean-Up by The Callahan Dog Owners Group NEXT Saturday, March 8th, 10AM – Noon (rain/snow date: March 15th, 10AM – Noon).
Volunteers will be at the Millwood Entrance and at the Edmands parking lot to distribute poop bags and trash bags to rid the trails and hills and parking lots of dog poop.
Help us Clean-Up Callahan! Please, please, please, if you are a regular visitor to Callahan, plan to visit on Saturday, March 8th, sometime between 10AM – Noon to grab a bag and bag some poop.
